The reason I do the same dumb things over and over is because I don't know the difference between right and wrong. That is where God comes in. Or higher consciousness, if you like. Higher power? Universal good. The all knowing source. Mother Nature. It is simply unrealistic to attempt to consistently do what is right, or wise, only guided by my experience or intuition. Trust me, as a faithful atheist, I have tried my best to do that, and in the end, it fails.
